My CD Collection
It was hard to do, but I got rid of my CD collection. The truth is I haven’t looked at them for a long time; I uploaded most of them to my computer a long time ago. They have just been taking up space.
Each CD is full of memories. For example, I remember how I got my first Usher CD from my uncle. It was in the case of a no name artist’s album that seemed uncool, so I’m pretty sure I gave my uncle that “eeewww” response and laughed at him when he offered it to me. Lucky for me he left it at my house anyway, and I eventually opened up the case (never judge a book by its cover…I know lol).
Anyway, I can’t keep lugging all kinds of stuff I don’t use around, so the CDs had to go. I looked at them so little that I had completely forgotten that I had a Trey Songz CD in there—of course I gave it a good long look and a hug good bye ;). I will just have to rely on Google Play to keep all my songs safe…hopefully there won’t be a cloud malfunction or a storage fee anytime soon.
….man I could make a whole blog about the memories those CDs hold….I’d be writing for years.
